The Union Home Ministry is going to take strict steps to stop the criminal activities happening on the international border with Bangladesh in West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is opposing the decision to give the power of arrest, search, and seizure to the BSF in an area up to fifty kilometers within the border.

According to information received from government sources, Mamata Banerjee will leave for Delhi on November 22 and will meet different leaders till November 25.
