The 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP-27) is to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt from November 6 to 18. Climate change solution?
Such efforts become important in bringing the world on one platform to tackle the menace of climate change. The solution to climate change lies in united and shared efforts to protect the environment. At the CAP-26 conference held in Glasgow in 2021, developed countries agreed to limit carbon emissions by 2050, while the 2015 Paris climate conference called for the formation of the 'International Solar Alliance and the increase in Earth's average temperature to 1.5 degrees. He is remembered for his commitment to limiting it to Celsius.
From Europe to India facing the impact of climate change
Climate change is the major problem of this century. This crisis is becoming a challenge to the existence of humanity. Compensation for economic losses due to climate devastation has also been included in the agenda of this summit. This year many countries of the world had to face adverse weather events. In Pakistan, 33 million people were affected by the floods. More than one and a half thousand people died. Crops on 44 lakh acres of land got ruined. In many countries in Europe, the old heat records were broken. The damage caused to biodiversity by forest fires due to heat will hardly be compensated. In India too, due to delayed monsoon, sowing could not be done on time and later it rained so much that crops were destroyed in many parts.
These steps will be effective in this direction to control pollution
Changes in the monsoon cycle due to climate change have resulted in many environmental, social, and economic problems. In such a situation, it is necessary to commit to preventing changes in the climate system due to human activities. Reducing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, increasing the number of trees and plants, and controlling pollution will be effective steps in this direction. Every citizen of the world should take the responsibility of discharging his responsibility towards the environment properly, then only we will be able to do justice to nature.
