A similar situation was seen before the match between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad on October 14 when hotel room rents and ticket prices had increased. Flight prices for the final match have also seen an increase. According to Google Flights data, round-trip flight tickets to Ahmedabad have seen a price increase of 200% to 300%. On November 18, i.e. the eve of the World Cup final, flight tickets from Delhi to Ahmedabad cost more than Rs 15,000.
