Corona cases have decreased for the second consecutive day in the country. On Monday, 2 lakh 38 thousand 18 new cases of corona have been found. During this, 305 people died and 1 lakh 57 thousand 421 patients were also cured. At present, the total number of active cases in the country is 17 lakh 36 thousand 628. Earlier on Sunday, 2 lakh 58 thousand 89 new cases were registered. There have been 20,071 fewer cases on Monday than on Sunday.
Since January 10, more than 50 lakh elderly people, healthcare, and frontline workers have been administered precocious doses in the country. Health Minister Mansukh Mandviya gave this information on Tuesday.

The decline in new cases for the fourth consecutive day in Delhi
12,527 new corona cases were registered in Delhi on Monday. This is the fourth consecutive day that there has been a decline in the daily cases. 28,867 new cases were registered on January 13, 24,343 on January 14, 20,718 on January 15, 18,286 on January 16 and 12,527 on January 17. 1. 10 thousand cases decreased in Maharashtra, about 2 thousand less in Mumbai
In Maharashtra, 31,111 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is 10,216 less than Sunday. On Monday, 29,092 people were discharged and 24 deaths were recorded. The total active cases in the state now stand at 2,67,334. In Mumbai too, the process of decreasing new cases continues. 5,956 new cases were found on Monday, which is 1,939 less than Sunday. However, since the start of corona infection in the metro city, the number of patients found so far has crossed one million. 12 people died on Monday.
2. Positivity rate reduced in Karnataka
On Monday, 27,156 people were found infected in the state, while 7827 people were cured and 14 people died. A total of 32.47 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 29.91 lakh people have been cured, while 38,445 people died. The number of active cases here is 2,17,297. The positivity rate has come down to 12.46%.
3. 1.52 lakh active cases in Tamil Nadu
During 24 hours, 23,443 new cases were reported here, while 13,551 patients were cured and 20 people died. So far, more than 29.63 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 27.74 lakh people have been cured, while 37,009 people died. The total active cases here are 1,52,348. The positivity rate is 16.71%.
4. Corona cases increasing in Kerala
On Monday, 22,946 people were found infected in the state, while 5280 people were cured and 18 people died. A total of 54.01 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 52.28 lakh people have been cured, while 50,904 people died. The number of active cases here is 1,21,458. The positivity rate has reached 33.08%.
5. 1.06 lakh active cases in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, 15,622 people were found infected on Monday. 12,402 people have recovered and 9 deaths have been recorded in the state. So far, more than 18.49 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 17.20 lakh people have been cured, while 22,972 people died. 1,06,616 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state.

On Monday, 12,753 new cases were reported in the state, while 5984 patients were cured and 5 people died. So far, more than 9.38 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 8.58 lakh people have been cured, while 10,165 people died. There are total active cases of 70374 here. The positivity rate is 16.71%.
2. West Bengal
9385 new cases have been found in West Bengal on Monday. During this, 11,034 patients have been cured, while 33 people have died. The positivity rate here is 26.43%. A total of 19.07 lakh cases have been found in the state so far, while 17.28 lakh people have recovered. A total of 20,121 people have died. Active cases are 1 lakh 58 thousand 623.
3. Rajasthan
On Monday, 9,236 people were found infected here, while 5894 people were cured and 5 people died. So far, more than 10.46 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.71 lakh people have been cured, while 9,010 people died. There are 66,742 active cases here.
4. Haryana
On Monday, 9,204 people were found infected in the state and 5,631 people were cured. 12 people have died here. So far, more than 8.56 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.91 lakh people have been cured, while 10,116 people died. A total of 54,814 are currently undergoing treatment.
5. Madhya Pradesh
Here 6,970 people were found infected in 24 hours. 2106 people have been cured in the state. So far, more than 8.37 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.92 lakh people have been cured, while 10,545 people died. 34,973 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
