US President Donald Trump has been discharged from the Walter Reed Military Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for Covid-19.
Trump, who has been hospitalized for the past three days after being found corona positive, has returned to the White House on Monday.
Presidential elections are to be held in America at the beginning of November this year and Trump wants to join the election campaign soon. Before leaving the hospital, Trump had tweeted and said, "I will return for campaigning soon."
Earlier he tweeted, "I am feeling better. Don't be afraid of Covid at all. Don't let it dominate you."
What happened after Trump returned?
Before leaving the hospital for the White House on Monday evening, Trump told American citizens not to fear the Coronavirus. He said, "I feel better than I hadn't felt in twenty years."
He wrote in another tweet, "I will participate in the election campaign soon."
After leaving the hospital, Trump did not answer the reporters' questions and thanked him for moving his special helicopter towards Marine One.
Earlier, White House physician Dr. Sean Conley said that Trump's health is improving and he can take leave from the hospital. Although the doctor said that he has not recovered completely but it is safe to go home.
Before leaving the hospital, the President tweeted, "I will start campaigning soon. Fake News only shows fake poll."
A few hours after this, he also released a video on social media keeping in mind the election campaign, in which he is seen getting off the chopper and climbing the stairs of the White House.
Trump also recorded a video message for the people and requested them to return to work.
He said, "You will defeat the coronavirus. We have the best medical equipment, we have the best medicines, we have made all of them recently."
"We have to fight this battle in front. As a leader, I had to do this. I had to come forward and face the difficulties."
He said, "I am better now, maybe I am immune now, I do not know."
He once again said that the corona vaccine is coming soon. However, the US Center for Disease Control has said that the corona vaccine should not be expected until the middle of next year.
What do doctors say?
Doctors have said that "the risk is not yet averted." However, he also said that Trump's health has been improving for the past 24 hours, now that "Trump can return home where he will continue to receive world-class medical care around the clock."
Doctors have not yet shared much information about Trump's treatment, as well he has not yet clarified whether Trump's test has come negative.
Dr. Brian Garibaldi had told that even before discharging, the President would be given a dose of the antivirus drug Remadecivir.
Dr. Sean Conley stated that Trump is currently being given dexamethasone (a steroid commonly given in severe Covid-19 cases) and has also been given three doses of Remadecivir. The fourth will be given before discharge and then the fifth in the White House.
In response to the question of whether Trump could opt out for the election campaign, Doctor Conley said, "We'll see."
At the same time, he also expressed concern that due to being in Air Force One aircraft, he may also have come in contact with the coronavirus.
An hour before the doctors' team press conference, Trump tweeted, "Feeling great."
In the tweet, he said, "I will take leave from the Great Walter Reed Medical Center today. Feeling great. Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life. We did something about this disease under the Trump administration Have developed very good medicines and information. "
Trump's oxygen level normal
The medical team also told that the President has no respiratory complaints and he has not had a fever in the last 72 hours. He said that the oxygen level of the trump is still normal.
The team said that Trump could be given the full health services at the White House that are being provided at the Great Walter Reed Medical Center.
Dr. Conley was asked whether President Trump had pressurized the doctors to discharge him from the hospital? To this, Dr. Conley said that if he tries to get the patient out of the hospital as soon as possible and the patient spends non-essential time in the hospital, then there will be more dangerous for him.
Extra oxygen given twice
Dr. Conley stated that he was given oxygen twice after the drop in the oxygen level of the trump.
On Sunday, the doctor told that oxygen was given in the White House hours before the President was taken to the hospital on Friday.
But he did not say whether he was given oxygen again on Saturday after the oxygen level was low.
The doctor also said that when he had a high fever on Friday, he looked a little dehydrated.
How many infected so far?
The incident of President Trump taking leave from the hospital has come at a time when new cases of Corona are coming out among the White House staff.
Nearly 12 people living around Donald Trump have been found corona infected, including senior officials to junior employees.
Most of those who are corona infected had attended the program held on September 26 in the Rose Garden of the White House.
