Corona Update: Corona cases continue to decline, death toll also decreased, 16,051 cases were reported in 24 hours

Corona infection is now decreasing across the country and the number of people recovering from it is also increasing rapidly. Now, most of the states have little or no corona cases. According to the report released by the Union Health Ministry today, 16,051 new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. There have been 3,917 fewer cases today than yesterday. However, today there has been a slight increase in the positivity rate. The positivity rate has now come down to 1.93 percent. The positivity rate was recorded at 1.68 percent yesterday. At the same time, active cases have also come down to 2,02,131.

According to the data of corona infected for several days, there was not that much reduction in the death toll, but today there has been a huge decrease in the cases of death due to corona as compared to yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 206 people have lost their lives. Let us inform you that yesterday 673 people died. The total death toll in the country has now reached 5,12,109. Talking about the patients recovering after beating Corona, there has been an increase in this too. In 24 hours 37,901 people have defeated Corona. Now a total of 4,21,24,284 people have been cured of corona in the country.

 

Corona test of 8,31,087 people was done yesterday

 

Despite the decrease in corona cases, the government has not reduced testing. Due to this, the government is getting success in corona tracing. According to the information, 8,31,087 sample tests have been done for the coronavirus in India yesterday. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 76,01,46,333 sample tests have been done since yesterday.
