New Delhi: The deadly corona virus is now increasing rapidly in the country. There have been 331 deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours. This is the first time the death toll has crossed 300 in a day. At the same time, 9987 new cases have also been registered.

 

According to the latest data of the Health Ministry on Tuesday morning, 2 lakh 66 thousand 598 people have been infected with Corona so far. Of this, 7466 have died, while one lakh 29 thousand people have also recovered.

 

India at number six in Corona case

After America, Brazil, Russia, Spain, Britain, India has reached the sixth place among the countries most affected by the Corona epidemic. At the same time, the pace of increasing cases in India remains at number three or fourth in the world. On Tuesday, the highest number of cases have been reported in India after the US, Brazil and Russia.

 

Top 5 states in case of active case

According to statistics, there are currently 1 lakh 29 thousand 360 corona cases in the country. The most active cases are in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, more than 44 thousand infected people are being treated in hospitals. After this, Delhi is at number two, Tamil Nadu at number three, Gujarat at number four and West Bengal at number five. These five states have the most active cases.

 

India is fourth in the world in active case. That is, India is the fourth country where most of the infected are currently being treated in hospital.
