
The second phase of Covid vaccination has started in India on 1 March. In this phase, people above 60 years and 45 to 59 years old people with the disease will be vaccinated. Know where and how the common people will be able to get the vaccine.
How to register for the Corona vaccine
Registration for vaccination can be done on the website www.cowin.gov.in.
People will be able to register themselves on other apps like Covin Two-Point Zero Portal or Arogya Setu and can take time for vaccination anytime and anywhere. You will need an identity card for registration.
According to the information given on the website of the Ministry of Health, go to the Co-Win website (cowin.gov.in) for registration. Click on 'Register Yourself' here. After this, enter the mobile number and click on 'Get Otopy'.
After this, an OTP will be received in the message. Click the Verify button to fill OTP. Once the OTP is verified, the 'Register for Vacancy' page will open.
Fill in the information requested here. Also, select which ID you want to use. After this, click on the register button.
The identity card filled here will have to be shown at the vaccination center. If you are already in the category of comorbidities, then register your illness here as well and will have to take a medical certificate at the time of vaccination.
Once the registration is complete, your account details will start appearing. Here you can also add three more people from the same mobile number for vaccination.
Click on the calendar-like icon to make an appointment from here. A scheduled appointment will be written on it. From here you will reach a new page, where you can select the center and date for the vaccine. After this, clicking on the confirm button will send the message of appointment success.
You can also change the date of appointment before the day of appointment.
Similarly, you can also register with the Arogya Setu app. For this, click on the 'Cowin' icon given in the app.
After clicking on the 'Vaccination' option, click on the 'Register Now' option. Atopy will come on entering the phone number here. On coming to OTP, complete the further process like a website.
If you cannot register online, you can also register yourself by going to the Vaccination Center. For this, a valid identity card and people with any disease will have to take a medical certificate.
This time vaccination is being done at government and private centers. Registration for the vaccine will run from 9 am to 3 pm.
Aadhaar card, voter identity card, passport, driving license, PAN card, NPR smart card and pension document with photograph will be valid as valid photo identity card.
What will be the comorbidities
In the second phase, the vaccine can be given to people above 45 years of age who have comorbidity. These people below can fall into this category -
1. Must have been hospitalized due to heart failure in the last year
2. Post cardiac transplant / left ventricular assist device
3. Significant left ventricular systolic dysfunction, less than 40 percent
4. Moderate or Severe Valvular Heart Disease
5. Congenital heart disease with sivier PAH or idiopathic PAH
6. Coronary Artery Disease (with a history of CABG / PTCA / MI) and Hypertension / Diabetes undergoing treatment.
7. Angina and hypertension/diabetes undergoing treatment
8. Stroke (in CT / MRI test) and hypertension/diabetes
9. Pulmonary Artery Hypertension and Hypertension / Diabetes
10. Diabetes (more than 10 years or with complications) and hypertension
11. Kidney/liver / hematopoietic stem cell transplanted or waiting to be done
12. End-stage kidney disease on hemodialysis / CAPD
13. Long-term use of oral corticosteroids / immunity-reducing medicines
14. decompensated cirrhosis
15. In the last two years, due to acute respiratory illness, ever hospitalized
16. lymphoma / leukemia / myeloma
17. Confirmation of any cancer or any cancer therapy in the investigation on or after 1 July 2020
18. Sickle Cell Disease / Bone Marrow Failure / Aplastic Anemia / Thalassemia Major
19. Primary immunodeficiency disease / HIV infection
20. Multiple disabilities including persons with disabilities like Intellectual Disabilities / Muscular Dystrophy / Acid Attack / Disabled persons with extreme help/blindness/deafness
How much will the vaccine cost, where to get it
Talking about the cost of the vaccine, it will be free at the government center.
For a vaccine in a private hospital, Rs 250 per dose will have to be paid. 500 rupees will have to be paid for both vaccines.
