Lucknow, . CoronaVirus UP Lockdown Day-17: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who transferred a large amount of money to help the poor and laborers in lockdown during the corona virus infection, also gave big help on Friday. After meeting with the core team, CM Yogi Adityanath transferred a sum of one thousand rupees through DBT to the account of about five lakh people daily.

CM Yogi Adityanath has given a sum of one thousand rupees per beneficiary to the various categories of street vendors, auto drivers, rickshaw drivers, e-rickshaw drivers, paladars working in the mandi etc. through DBT, as identified by the Municipal Development Department. Provided from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said during this time that during the infection of deadly corona virus, we are providing daily use items to every poor and laborer of the state on the lines of the central government and also providing financial assistance. He said that the state government is very confident about people's best health and safe future. The UP government is also helping them financially. In the same order, today, the daily wage earner transferred an amount of one thousand rupees to the account of four lakh 81 thousand 755 people. He should provide requisite help to every poor while interacting with the District Collectors through video conferencing.

The Chief Minister said that since the beginning of the lockdown, we were very serious about the livelihood of the people. Provided funds to construction workers in the first phase. So far, more than 11 lakh have benefited. Our goal is to provide funds to 20 lakhs. He said that along with this, we worried about the maintenance of other people who paid daily wages. We worried about 88 lakh MNREGA workers. We benefited 27 lakhs. Three months advance pension amount has been provided to 87 lakh pensioners. Arrangements have been made to give two thousand rupees to two crore 34 lakh farmers of the state for three months.

He said that honorarium of 88 lakh MNREGA workers has been increased to 202 in the state. More than 27 lakh 15 thousand MNREGA workers, who were owed some amount for a long time, were given a lump sum. In addition, we have provided their pension to 87 lakh families linked to old age pension, destitute women pension or other pension schemes.

He said that in this sequence, today we have given financial assistance to four lakh 81 thousand urban area daily wage earners. In which financial assistance has also been provided to pulldars, e-rickshaw drivers, track shopkeepers, ace-tanga drivers, riders, Haththela and auto drivers. All of us can control the rising infection of the corona virus epidemic only if we stay at home and follow the necessary rules. In the event of getting out of the house, cover the face with a mask, towel or swab. We will fight against it and win. I heartily thank the Urban Development Department for this effort today and more than 4 lakh 81 thousand beneficiaries have benefited from this scheme. I wish them all the best.

Akhilesh targeted the target, said - Help of one or two thousand is not enough

During the corona virus infection, Akhilesh Yadav said that the news of 5 crore people becoming unemployed in 2 weeks due to the lockdown implemented to stop the spread of corona virus is very worrying. After reviewing these figures, the government should prepare a roadmap to help the families affected by unemployment, otherwise starvation can make the situation terrible. Such arrangements should be made for everyone to get employment after bread, medicines and lockdown. Monthly assistance of one or two thousand to unemployed youth is insufficient.

Akhilesh Yadav said that due to the unfortunate accidental disaster of Corona, 85 percent of the lockdown, 93 percent of the unorganized workers in the private sector are in grave danger. The situation has become so severe that unemployment rate in India has exceeded 23 percent. The number is going to increase even more. Workers and laborers working in various states have been forced to migrate to their villages in lakhs. Giving an example of the problem of some laborers, Akhilesh said that due to the lockdown, the workers engaged in the construction work of Purvanchal Expressway are stuck near the legal park. They have neither ration nor money left. They are also afraid of taking the number 112 service. Help should be taken after taking cognizance of their situation.
