Political turmoil in Pakistan: CJP's question to the President's lawyer- If everything is going according to the constitution, then where is the crisis?

Posted on 7th Apr 2022 01:13 pm by rohit kumar

Conflict continues in Pakistan over the issue of unconstitutional dismissal of a no-confidence motion against the government and the dissolution of the National Assembly. During the hearing in the SC, President Arif Alvi's lawyer Ali Zafar presented the arguments on Thursday. Chief Justice Omar Ata Bandiyal asked Zafar – if everything is going on according to the constitution, then where is the crisis? Dismissal of a no-confidence motion is a violation of Article 95. Now if elections are held in the country, it will cost billions of rupees.

On the other hand, Imran Khan is constantly alleging that the no-confidence motion was brought at the behest of America. He is also calling the opposition anti-national. The Ministry of External Affairs is deeply annoyed by the rhetoric of Imran and his ministers. At the same time, the opposition has made it clear that it will protest against the government across Pakistan.

what the foreign ministry said

The Express Tribune's report released late on Wednesday said that senior officials of the Foreign Ministry have expressed strong objection to the name being named America. According to these officers, governments and leaders keep changing, but what this government has done, Pakistan may have to bear the brunt of it very hard and for a very long time.

According to the report, the officials of the Foreign Ministry said on the condition of anonymity – that now even our ambassadors will not tell everything open to the Ministry of External Affairs. There is a fear in his mind that any of his letters can be brought into the public domain at any time, even though they are secret. This will have a huge impact on relations with the US and Europe. We must not forget that our diplomats are our eyes and ears in the world.

Opposition pressure will increase

Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, the chief of the opposition parties' organization Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), made it clear on Wednesday night that the alliance will now face Imran Khan on the streets as well as in court. Rahman said in a conversation with a channel- The way the no-confidence motion was rejected and the way the National Assembly was dissolved, it becomes clear that Imran does not believe in the constitution and he only wants to stick to power. Huh. They call us traitors. Now we will take to the streets under any circumstances and only people will tell Imran who is a traitor.
