Coronavirus Updates: 1 lakh 79 thousand new cases of corona in the country, cases increased by 12.6 percent

There is no brake on the speed of corona infection in the country. In the last 24 hours, 1,79,723 new cases of corona have been reported. During this, 46,569 patients have also recovered from Corona. The Health Ministry said that 146 people died of corona on Sunday.

 

The total number of cases of Korana in the country has gone up to 3,57,07,727. At the same time, active cases have increased to 7,23,619. So far 3,45,00,172 people have recovered from Corona. At the same time, 4,83,936 patients have lost their lives so far. With this, the daily positivity rate has increased to 13.29 percent while the weekly positivity rate has increased to 7.92 percent.

 

Cases increased by 12.6 percent

 

On Sunday, there has been a big increase in the cases of corona as compared to Saturday. Cases have increased by 12.6 percent as compared to Saturday. Let us inform you that a total of 1,59,632 new cases were reported on Saturday. The Indian Council of Medical Research said that 13,52,717 sample tests were done for the coronavirus in India yesterday i.e. on Sunday. A total of 69,15,75,352 sample tests have been done since yesterday.

 

4,033 cases of Omicron in 27 states

 

On the other hand, the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 4,033. Out of 4,033 patients of Omicron, 1,552 patients have been discharged. Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,216 cases of Omicron. At the same time, Rajasthan has overtaken Delhi on this list. Omicron has 529 patients in Rajasthan and 513 in Delhi.
