Cases of the coronavirus are continuously coming up in the country. There has been an increase in the cases of coronavirus in the country as compared to a day earlier. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, 9 thousand 62 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in India in the last 24 hours and 15 thousand 220 people have been cured. With this, the number of active cases in the country has come down to 1 lakh 05 thousand 058. At the same time, the daily positivity rate is 2.49 percent.

 

More than 8 thousand cases were found in the country a day ago

 

Let us tell you that 10 thousand cases of the corona were registered in the country a day ago. According to the Ministry of Health, on August 16, 8,813 cases of the corona epidemic have been reported in the country in 24 hours. The ministry said that 15 thousand 40 people have been cured of the corona during this period. Whereas today 9 thousand 62 new cases have been reported in the country and 15 thousand 220 people have been cured.

 

14 thousand cases were found on 15th August

 

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, on August 15, 14 thousand 917 new cases of coronavirus were reported. Earlier on August 14, 14 thousand 92 new patients were found in the country. On August 15, 32 patients died of the coronavirus. Whereas on August 14, 41 people died.

 

So far more than 5 lakh people have lost their lives in the country

 

According to the Ministry of Health, so far 4 crores 36 lakh 54 thousand 64 people have recovered from Corona in the country. Apart from this, a total of 5 lakh 27 thousand 134 people have also lost their lives. At the same time, the daily positivity rate is now 2.49 percent and the weekly positivity rate has been recorded at 4.38 percent. Along with this, more than 208 crore vaccines of corona vaccines have been applied in the country. The first dose has been given to more than 102 crore people.
