Coronavirus Updates: Decline in Covid cases, 2539 people died of corona in 24 hours, 60 died

A day later, there has been a decline in the cases of Coronavirus in the country. The Ministry of Health has issued an update regarding corona infection. According to the report, 2,539 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The ministry said that 60 people have also died during this period. Let us tell you that yesterday i.e. on Wednesday, 2,876 cases of the corona were reported in the country. A decrease of 337 has been registered in new cases of corona on Thursday.

In the last 24 hours, 4,491 patients have been cured of corona in the country. Now the active cases in the country have come down to 30,799. This is 0.07 percent of the total cases. At the same time, the death toll has now increased to 5,16,132.

 

How many people got the Covid vaccine?

 

The vaccination campaign against the corona epidemic is also going on in the country. More than 180.71 crore corona vaccines have been installed in the country. About 97 crore people have received the first dose of corona in the country. At the same time, more than 81.71 crore second doses have been given. According to the data released on Kovin's website, more than two crore people have taken precaution doses.

 

What is the registration status?

 

Vaccination has also started for children in the age group of 12 to 14 years from March 16 in the country. More than 3.83 lakh children of this age group have registered for vaccination. More than 60 million people in the age group of 15 to 17 years, while more than 62 crore people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have registered for the vaccine.

 

UP on top in terms of vaccination

 

UP tops in terms of vaccination among states. More than 29.58 crore doses of vaccine have been administered in UP. About 16 and a half crore people have been given the first dose. At the same time, the second dose has been taken around 13 crores.
