Delhi Election 2025: 'BJP insulted Punjabis and Sikh community', Kejriwal said- Amit Shah should apologize

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and Aam Aadmi Party Convenor Arvind Kejriwal attacked the BJP in a press conference at the party headquarters on Wednesday. Kejriwal reacted to BJP leader Pravesh Verma's allegation of Punjab vehicles roaming in Delhi. The AAP Convenor has accused the BJP of insulting Punjabis and the Sikh community and has demanded that Union Home Minister Amit Shah should apologize to Punjabis.

 

Kejriwal spoke on the allegation of Punjab vehicles roaming in Delhi.

 

He said, "The allegation made by BJP's New Delhi candidate Pravesh Verma on Punjabis is very condemnable. I want to say whether he is afraid of the people of Punjab, who are all Punjabi terrorists. Punjabis have built Delhi, and have beautified Delhi. How can he make any statement against Punjabis." Kejriwal demanded that Union Home Minister Amit Shah should apologize to Punjabis in this matter.

 

BJP is doing hooliganism in Delhi- Kejriwal

AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, "Candidates of any political party resort to violence when they feel that they are losing badly and the public is not listening to them. BJP is doing the same in Delhi. The public is watching everything. BJP is doing hooliganism in Delhi. It has the protection of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Police have been removed from law and order in Delhi."

 

Law and order has collapsed in Delhi- Kejriwal.

AAP Convenor said, "Law and order has completely collapsed in Delhi. BJP has no attention on it. The entire Delhi Police is engaged in giving protection to BJP."

 

Kejriwal claimed that I had spoken to some police station in-charges. They have told that to give protection to BJP, messages are coming directly to them from the Home Ministry about where the meetings of Aam Aadmi Party candidates have to be canceled or permission should not be given to them.

 

BJP will not even get three seats - AAP

 

He further said, "The more hooliganism BJP is doing, the fewer votes they will get. They will not even get the three seats they won in 2015. All those people against whom Atishi has spoken should be arrested, action should be taken against them, they should be kept in jail till the elections."

 

Ramesh Bidhuri's people are threatening AAP workers - Atishi's allegation.

 

In this episode, Chief Minister Atishi, who is contesting from the Kalkaji seat, has made serious allegations against BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri. She said, "Bidhuri's people are snatching campaign material from Aam Aadmi Party people in every area of ​​the assembly constituency and burning it. Such incidents are happening in all areas. But the administration is remaining a mute spectator."

 

Bidhuri is threatening AAP officials over phone- Atishi

Atishi also alleged that Ramesh Bidhuri is threatening Aam Aadmi Party officials over the phone and saying join BJP or else we will deal with you after the elections.

 

Atishi said, "I am going to write a letter to the Election Commission today regarding the way the atmosphere is being created by the BJP candidate in my constituency and will demand to register a case against the BJP candidate.
