However, a total of 5,747 cases of corona have been registered in the last 24 hours. The Health Ministry said that 29 people have also died during this period.
Continuously increasing active cases
The ministry said that in the last 24 hours, 5,618 people have also been cured of corona in the country. Active cases have now increased to 46,848. Yesterday i.e. on 16 September, the number of active patients was 46,748. Active cases are currently 0.11 percent of the total cases while the recovery rate has gone up to 98.71 percent. The daily positivity rate has gone up to 1.69 percent and the weekly positivity rate to 1.74 percent.
So far a total of 4 crores 45 lakh 28 thousand 524 cases of corona have been reported in the country. Apart from this, 4 crores 39 lakh 53 thousand 374 people have also been cured. At the same time, 5 lakh 28 thousand 302 people have died. In the last 24 hours, 13 people have died in the state of Kerala alone.
How many people got the corona vaccine?
More than 216.41 crore doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country. More than 102.57 crore people have received precautionary doses. At the same time, more than 94.63 crore people have been given the second dose. Apart from this, precaution doses have been given to more than 19.21 crore people. In the last 24 hours, 23 lakh 92 thousand 530 people have been vaccinated.
