'Neither do one-time roti, nor getting loan', why PAK is wandering from door to door, why change its tone; Wants to improve relations with India?

Posted on 18th Jan 2023 05:29 pm by rohit kumar

Pakistan, which tried to show eyes to India, has run out of air. The condition of the neighboring country is completely pathetic and even more so the people of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) are talking about joining India. Pakistan is facing many problems, including cash, and food, and in such a situation, Pakistan feels that if its relations with India were better, it would not have been in this plight today. Pakistan's Wazir-e-Azam Shehbaz Sharif is also roaming around like a wet cat and recently said that he wants peace with his neighboring country because Pakistan had fought three wars with India and lost in all three. Was lying and he wants to improve relations with India by taking lessons from the past.

Why did Shahbaz Sharif's tone change?

To get immediate relief from the current situation, Pakistan is helpless to go into debt but the problem is that no one wants to give a loan to the Pakistan government headed by Shehbaz Sharif. Despite this, Shahbaz Sharif is extending his hand again and again. Because of this, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) promised to help Pakistan. If you remember, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the world's largest lending institution, had stopped Pakistan's loan program. After this Shahbaz Sharif said that he had no other option but to implement the IMF program to improve the deteriorating condition of the economy.

Pak talks about seriousness and honesty

In an interview with Dubai-based Al Arabiya TV, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his desire to improve relations with India. He said that Pakistan has learned its lesson after three wars with India. Pakistan now wants peace with its neighbor. In such a situation, he also appealed for talks on the Kashmir issue with the Prime Minister of the neighboring country, Narendra Modi.

Shahbaz Sharif appealed to the Indian leadership and Prime Minister Modi to sit at a table and have a serious and honest conversation to resolve issues like Kashmir. It is up to us whether we live in peace and develop or fight with each other and destroy resources over time, he said.

Is it a compulsion or a show-off to improve relations?

Improving relations with India is not only a compulsion of Pakistan but also a real need because hardly any other country can help Pakistan as much as India can and Pakistan has also seen this during the Sri Lankan crisis. Pakistan's Federal Reserve Bureau had told on Friday that the country's foreign exchange reserves are rapidly decreasing and it has come down to $ 4.4 billion. Due to this imports cannot be done even for three weeks.

On the other hand, the IMF has also made it clear that the next installment of $1.6 billion will not be released until Pakistan accepts its conditions. The IMF was about to give a loan of $ 9 billion to Pakistan through 6 installments, but so far only two installments of $ 3 billion have been released.

Loved ones left, and Pakistan was left alone

Saudi Arabia and UAE have always extended their hand to help Pakistan after its separation from India, but both these countries have also realized that Pakistan, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, is unable to repay its debt. In such a situation, both countries are shying away from helping Pakistan, but because of the situation arising due to floods, Saudi Arabia and UAE have agreed to help with $ 3 and 1 billion respectively.

Pakistanis yearning for grains

Many videos of people of Pakistan yearning for food and drink are going viral on social media. It can be seen in these videos that there has been a fight among people for subsidized flour and riot-like situations have started arising. The situation is such that where the government supply of subsidized wheat has almost completely stopped and on the other hand the prices of other essential commodities are also skyrocketing.

According to a report in 'Dawn', Pakistan imports wheat and rice from Russia and Ukraine but there is a war between these two countries since February 2022. In such a situation, Pakistan looked for other options, which proved to be very expensive. Flood is also a major reason behind the occurrence of the starvation-like situation as about 40 percent of the crop was destroyed due to flood.
