Train engulfed in flames running on track: accident in Mexico, fuel truck collided with a goods train

A horrific collision occurred between a freight train and a truck in Mexico. The train caught fire after the accident. The surprising thing is that the train engulfed in flames did not stop but kept running on the track. The police have arrested the driver of the truck. No one was killed in the accident, but several people are reported to be injured.

Flames spread to nearby houses

The incident is from the city of Aguascalientes. Mayor Leo Montenezu said nearby homes were also damaged by the fire. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that after the collision, the oil-laden truck overturned and caught fire in both vehicles. An atmosphere of panic was created at the spot. People around are seen running.

12 people were rescued

Miguel Murillo, head of the fire department of Aguascalientes, said - A truck collided with a cargo train near the railway crossing. There was oil in the truck. The fire was spreading very fast. 12 people living here have been rescued. Many of these people are said to be injured. The injured have been taken to the hospital. Apart from this, about 1500 people living near the spot have also been taken to safer places.
