To effectively prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the central government has asked all its employees 45 years and above to get an anti-corona vaccine. The order issued by the Ministry of Personnel states that employees have been suggested to follow corona prevention guidelines even after vaccination, including frequent hand washing, sanitization, wearing a mask or face cover, and maintaining physical distance Are included.

 

On-the-spot registration of health workers, frontline workers only at government centers

 

The central government has said that health workers and frontline workers in the age group of 18 to 44 years will have the facility to register on the spot only in government vaccine centers for getting the anti-corona vaccine. Such employees will be required to present the original photo identity card and appointment certificate. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan gave this clear information in a letter sent to all states and union territories on Monday.

On the demand to vaccinate even those under 45 years of age in the country, the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that at the moment the vaccine will be given only to those who need it. The government's priority is to prevent epidemic deaths. He said that India is the only country in the world where all people aged 45 years and above are being vaccinated.

The Union Health Secretary said that all countries in the world are the first to vaccinate priority groups to prevent deaths from corona. He said that now more than 50 years in Britain, vaccines are being given to people between 65 and 74 years after giving vaccines to workers associated with frontline and compulsory services in the US and those above 75 years of age. In France, in addition to people over 60 years of age, between 50 and 60 years old people with severe illness are being vaccinated.

 

The speed of vaccination is the fastest

 

Bhushan said that the pace of vaccination in the country is the fastest in the world. America is the only country where more vaccines are being administered every day than India. But vaccination started a month before India here. In the US, an average of 30.53 lakh vaccines are being applied every day, while in India the number is 26.53 lakhs on average. He said that India is second only to America in terms of total dosage. More than 16.5 million doses have been applied in America, while in India this figure has crossed 80 million. Dr. Paul said that after the completion of vaccination of people above 45 years of age, vaccination will be started for people of lower age group.
