According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Thursday, the active corona cases in the country now stand at 1,48,881. There has been an increase of 3227 in active cases today as compared to Wednesday. The daily infection rate has been recorded at 4.25 percent. On Wednesday, 20,557 new cases of the corona were reported. Compared to that, 1009 more cases have been registered today. However, in the last 24 hours, 18,294 people have also defeated Corona.
There have been 45 deaths from Corona in the country on Thursday. Including these, a total of 5,25,870 deaths have taken place so far. At the same time, more than 200 crore vaccines have been administered so far in the ongoing vaccination campaign to prevent the corona epidemic.
