new Delhi. There is a relief news among the corona virus spread across the country that the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has succeeded in taking one lakh tests in a day. Earlier on Monday, CMR said that if the migrant and returning people show signs of influenza-like illness, then they will be tested for corona virus within seven days.
Also, any patient admitted to hospitals and those working in the front line engaged in prevention and control of Covid-19 will also undergo RT-PCR examination if they show signs of influenza-like illness (ILI).
Investigating once between 14th day
In addition, people in direct contact with an infected case and who are at extremely high risk, who do not have symptoms, will be screened for detection of infection once between the fifth and tenth day of contact. So far, such cases are being investigated once between the fifth and the 14th day.
The ICMR has changed its strategy in view of the rapid rise in the corona virus cases in the country. The aim of the new strategy is to prevent the infection from spreading more effectively.

So far, according to the guidelines, people with ILI symptoms, SARI patients and health workers with symptoms appearing in hotspots or containment areas are being screened for corona virus infection.
In the last 14 days, people who are traveling internationally, who do not have symptoms and those coming in contact with infected people, were being investigated.
