Corona's growing infection in India has again drawn lines of concern. The Delhi High Court on Tuesday directed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to adequately publicize its guidelines to ensure strict adherence to the Corona Guidelines.
A single-judge bench of Justice C Harishankar directed that DGCA will ensure dissemination of these guidelines to all airlines for strict compliance. The situation should be reviewed periodically so that there is no laxity in the system.
The court also directed that the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Domestic Affairs as well as all airlines operating in the domestic sector should take all steps to ensure this. If it repeatedly fails to ensure compliance with the above guidelines, punitive action will be initiated as per law.
A judge of the Delhi High Court was traveling from Kolkata to Delhi on 5 March. During this time, he saw that many of the yatras were sitting without masks too. After this, the court took suo moto cognizance and several orders were passed regarding this. The court says that the airline personnel are lax about the Corona Guidelines.
The court further stated that passengers on the flight are in a closed air-conditioned environment. Here, if one of the passengers is suffering from COVID-19, the impact on other passengers can be catastrophic. The court also said that everyone must contribute to the end of the epidemic.
The court also said that apart from the central and state governments, a conscious and duty-bound citizen should also play his role.
The order stated, "All passengers on the flight were wearing masks, but many passengers were wearing masks under their chin. Showing a stubborn reluctance to wear their masks properly. This behavior was not only the passengers Were seen traveling from the terminal building to the flight, but the same was the situation within the flight during the flight. ''
The court has issued seven-point orders to the DGCA and directed the Corona designs to be strictly followed.
