Disaster rains in India and Nepal, more than 150 people lost their lives due to floods

India and neighboring Nepal are currently facing floods due to heavy rains. A large number of people have also lost their lives due to this disaster in both countries. The death toll from the floods in both countries has crossed 150. Officials said on Thursday that due to unseasonal heavy rains, many areas have been flooded, due to which people are facing a lot of trouble. The situation is that water has entered people's homes as well. In such a situation, the houses of many people have also been submerged in the flow of water.

 

State Disaster Management Department Secretary SA Murugesan said that Uttarakhand has been particularly badly affected due to this severe rain in India, in which 48 people have been confirmed dead. In Nainital, a popular tourist destination in the Himalayan state, the city's main lake breached its banks, submerging the main road. During this, there was damage to bridges and railway tracks. About 42 people have died in the south Indian state of Kerala last week. At the same time, at least 77 people have died in neighboring Nepal.
