Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has summoned a report from the University of Kerala and Kannur regarding the irregularities in the examinations. Actually, at the time of examination for B.Sc Electronics at Kerala University, instead of a question paper, the answer key was distributed. On the other hand, the question paper which came last year in Kannur University was again included in the examination this time. After the matter came to light, the Governor reprimanded both the universities and called for a report on the whole matter. At the same time, the official of the Governor's House has described it as part of a routine investigation.

According to the information, the issue of distribution of answer keys instead of question papers at Kerala University came to light after a long time. The examinations were held in February, at that time no student raised the matter. However, when the answer sheets were sent for evaluation, the discrepancy came to the fore. Whereas in Kannur, the examination was postponed after the issue of redistribution of the question paper which had come a year ago came to the fore.

Report of summoning in the midst of controversy

The report of irregularities in examinations has been summoned by the Raj Bhavan from both the universities at a time when the issue of appointment of Vice-Chancellors between the state government and the Raj Bhavan is hot. A Raj Bhavan official said the probe was not affected by the controversy. This is a routine action. Further action will be taken based on the report.
