Changes in the weather are being seen in some states of North India. Snowfall in the hilly areas is affecting the plains. Cold winds coming from the mountains are making one feel cold in many areas other than Delhi-NCR.

Icy winds have increased the chill in the plains. A strong wind was blowing in Delhi since Monday morning. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 23.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal. At the same time, the humidity level in the air was 25 to 62 percent.

Trouble increased in UP too

In Uttar Pradesh too, people were troubled by the icy winds. There has also been a drop in the temperature of the state. Due to icy winds, the mercury may fall further.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the sky will be clear on Tuesday. However, a strong wind will blow at a speed of 20 to 40 kmph. Chill will also haunt people. The maximum and minimum temperatures can be 26 and 12 degree Celsius respectively. It is expected to increase from Wednesday. At the same time, there is a possibility of snowfall in the hilly areas, while there is a possibility of rain in the plains.

 

Mercury dropped in Uttarakhand

Due to the cold winds, the temperature has dropped here. However, people are getting relief from the cold due to the strong sunlight. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather is likely to remain dry till February 17. During this time the temperature may increase.
