UN General Assembly: French President Emmanuel Macron praised the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi (PM Modi) in a session of the United Nations General Assembly. Emmanuel Macron said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told Russian President Vladimir Putin that this is not the time for war and he was right.

Let us tell you that leaders from all over the world participated in this session of the United Nations General Assembly. PM Modi recently met Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and said that "today is not the era of war".

Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin several times over the phone regarding the war. During this, he has underlined the importance of democracy, diplomacy, and dialogue.

'This is not the time to take revenge on the West'

Emmanuel Macron said, "Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi rightly said that this is not the era of war. This is not the time to take revenge on the West and pit it against the East. It is time that we all as a sovereign nation stand before ourselves. Let's face the challenges unitedly."

Emmanuel Macron said the important thing

"That is why there is a dire need for new agreements between the North and the South. One such agreement is in the fields of food, education, and biodiversity. It is not to limit thinking, but to take specific action for common interests," he said. It's about allying."

In Samarkand, Putin told Modi that he was "well aware of his position regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the concerns that Modi often talks about." Putin said, "We will try to stop it as soon as possible."

America also accepted PM Modi's statement as correct

When asked about PM Modi's remarks, US National Security Advisor (USA) Jake Sullivan told reporters at the White House that what Prime Minister Modi said is a statement based on that "principle". Which he (Modi) considers right and proper and America welcomes it.
