A fire broke out after landing on a plane at Miami International Airport in the US on Tuesday. 126 people were present in this plane at the time of the accident. Fortunately, there was no loss of life, although three people sustained minor injuries.
According to media reports, at around 5.30 pm (US time), the landing gear of the plane broke and fell at the airport. After which the plane collided with a crane tower present at the airport. The video of this accident is viral on social media.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTACB) says that a team of investigators will visit the accident site. At the same time, Miami's fire rescue team says that firefighters have brought the fire under control.
A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department said in an email to the Associated Press that the Red Air flight had arrived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Its landing gear broke down due to the fire. Some flights were delayed after the incident.
