India has proposed that the views of Russia and China be included in the G-20 statement condemning the Ukraine war to avoid a deadlock. Officials gave this information on Thursday. A two-day summit of the G-20 is set to begin on Saturday but the deliberations of the world's 20 biggest economies have been hampered by differences over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Western countries want to condemn Russia's aggression

Western countries want to strongly condemn the Russian aggression to agree to the Delhi Declaration. At the same time, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is attending the conference in place of Russian President Vladimir Putin, says that if his country's stance is not reflected in the manifesto, Moscow will disrupt the final declaration.

India will include the views of all member countries

India has suggested that the G-20 should also reflect the stand of Moscow and Beijing while condemning the suffering caused by the Russian aggression as this forum is not a place for geopolitics. an Indian official told

Another official said the second option is a general statement on the Ukraine war in the joint declaration. Let us tell you that if a joint declaration could not be issued at the Delhi conference, then it would be the first such occasion in the history of G-20 and it would raise questions on the feasibility of the group.

China supported the inclusion of the African Union in the G-20

China on Thursday expressed its support for the inclusion of the African Union in the G-20. According to news agency PTI, China said that it is the first country to support the inclusion of the African Union in this group.

PM Modi had supported

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in a recent interview that India supports the inclusion of the African Union as a full member of the G-20 because no plan for the future of the world can be successful without the representation of all.
