Gaza War: Iran's President expressed confidence in India, and said- PM Modi will help in stopping the ongoing attacks on Gaza.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the phone with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Monday. The two leaders talked about the Israel-Hamas conflict. Let us tell you, the war between Israel and Hamas has been going on for a long time, in which more than 11 thousand people have died so far.

 

The world expects from India

According to the media, Raisi recalled India's struggle. Iran stated the talks between the two leaders. Today, India is expected to use its capabilities to end the ongoing attacks against the suffering people of Gaza, the statement said. Tehran supports a ceasefire, providing aid to the people of Gaza and lifting the blockade. The killing of Palestinians continues, which will have many regional consequences.

 

The statement further said that innocent women and children are being killed in Gaza. Hospitals, schools, mosques, and churches are being targeted. Attacks are taking place in residential areas. This is condemnable and unacceptable. All countries should support the Palestinian people. Raisi said that we need to plan on this issue.

After the conversation, PM Modi tweeted that he spoke to the President of Iran. During this, the difficult situation in West Asia and the Israel-Hamas conflict were discussed in detail. Terrorist incidents, violence, and loss of civilian lives are a matter of grave concern. Preventing escalation, ensuring continued humanitarian assistance and early restoration of peace and stability are of paramount importance at this juncture. We welcomed progress in our bilateral cooperation, including on Chabahar Port. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the Prime Minister reiterated to President Raisi India's long-term and consistent stance on the Israel-Palestine issue. During the conversation, President Raisi shared his assessment of the latest situation with the PM. The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations.
