According to eonline.com, Marijuana was found by customs officers on Gigi Hadid and her friend Leah McCarthy. He then took action and arrested actresses Gigi Hadid and Leah McCarthy. After this, he was released on bail.

 

Was arrested on reaching Cayman Island

Hadid and McCarthy arrived in the Cayman Islands on a private jet, according to news outlet Cayman Marl Road. Meanwhile, the customs officials found marijuana and paraphernalia in their luggage. The report states that the arrests of Hadid and McCarthy were made based on cannabis and paraphernalia found. He was then taken to the Prisoner Detention Centre, where he was released on bail.

 

Both were fined US $ 1,000

Hadid and her friend were formally charged during a court appearance on July 12, according to Cayman Marl Road. where they pleaded guilty and were fined US$1,000. There are no other charges against him at the moment.

 

Gigi Hadid's representative issued a statement

Gigi Hadid's rep reported that she was traveling with legally purchased marijuana in NYC with a medical license. It is also legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. His record is clear and he enjoyed the rest of his time on the island.
