US President Donald Trump's aggression regarding Greenland continues to escalate. Meanwhile, a statement from a Danish Member of Parliament has made headlines. In his statement, the MP advised Donald Trump to stay away from Greenland. Anders Vistisen, a member of the European Parliament, addressed Trump directly, saying that Greenland is not for sale, so "go to hell."

Danish MP Anders Vistisen expressed his anger towards US President Trump during a debate in the European Union legislature. In the video, the 38-year-old Vistisen can be seen addressing a session focused on US interests in Greenland amidst Trump's attempts to acquire the Arctic territory.

What did the Danish MP say?

MP Anders Vistisen said, "Dear President Trump, please listen carefully. Greenland has been part of the Danish kingdom for 800 years. It is a unified country. It is not for sale." Vistisen then added, "I'll put it in terms you might understand: Mr. President, go to hell."

He then continued his speech in Danish, but was soon interrupted by the Parliament's Vice-President, Nicu Ștefănuță. He reprimanded the MP for his language and warned him of the consequences.

Strong reprimand issued

Ștefănuță told him, "Fellow Member of Parliament, I'm sorry, this is against our rules." He further added, "We have clear rules against the use of profanity and inappropriate language in this chamber. I'm sorry to interrupt you. This is unacceptable, no matter how strong your political feelings are on this subject." Following the reprimand, the Danish MP Vistisen shifted the focus of his speech away from Trump.
