Gujarat: PM Modi inaugurates hostel and education complex in Gujarat, addressed through video conferencing

The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi today inaugurated the hostel and education complex of Shri Annapurnadham Trust at Adalaj, Gujarat on April 12, 2022. PM Modi attended the event through video conferencing. Through this hostel and education complex, arrangements for accommodation and education will be made for hundreds of students.

 

During this, PM Modi said that in this holy Dham of Mother Annapurna, I keep getting an opportunity to join the big rituals related to faith, spirituality, and social obligations. With mother's blessings every time I have got a chance to be among you in some way or the other. We have great faith in Annapurna, the goddess of prosperity and wealth. Patidar society has been directly related to Mother Earth.

 

Referring to bringing back idols from abroad

 

During this, PM Modi also mentioned bringing back the idols stolen from the country from abroad. He said that it is because of this deep reverence for the mother that we have brought back the idol of Mother Annapurna from Canada to Kashi a few months back. This idol of Mother Annapurna Mata was stolen from Kashi decades ago and transported abroad. Dozens of such symbols of our culture have been brought back from abroad in the last seven-eight years.

PM Modi said that your efforts are going to give more strength to the campaign that the Central Government has started the facility of free dialysis in district hospitals. You all deserve appreciation for all these efforts and service.

 

What will be special in the hostel and education complex

 

There will be a hostel of 150 rooms under the hostel and education complex of Annapurnadham Trust. Other facilities including accommodation for about 600 students will be provided here. Apart from this, training for UPSC, Gujarat PSC will include an e-library as well as conference rooms and many more facilities.
