US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping met before the G-20 Summit in Bali, the capital of Indonesia. The meeting of these two is considered quite shocking in the way the tensions between the two countries have increased in recent times. Significantly, China and America have been constantly at loggerheads regarding Taiwan. US Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan left China very upset. After this, China warned America to face the consequences. Not only this, but after this development, he increased the strategic pressure on Taiwan a lot. In such a situation, it will be a matter to be seen what new color the meeting of the heads of state of China and America brings in the relationship between the two countries before the G-20.

 

What did you say after the meeting?

After meeting the Chinese President, Joe Biden said that Xi and he have a responsibility to show that the US and China can overcome their differences, and find areas of cooperation. At the same time, the Chinese President said that he is ready to exchange views with Biden, which aims to improve US-China relations. Biden and Jinping are meeting after nearly 11 years. The last time these two leaders met, Joe Biden was the Vice President of America. He visited China in August 2011. During this tour of about a week, Biden was treated a lot in China. Even Chinese President Jinping gave him about 85 minutes during the meeting. However, since then till now there has been a lot of change in the relations between the two countries.

 

Recently, China had given many threats to America for supporting Taiwan. He even showed his military strength over Taiwan, which was considered a warning to America. After this, America stopped the export of advanced chips to China. At the same time, the White House spokeswoman had said that the two leaders would discuss efforts to maintain and deepen the dialogue.
