
New Delhi, Feb 28 (IANS) The union home ministry was Saturday allocated Rs.62,124.52 crore in the budget for 2015-16, an increase of Rs.5,752.07 crore from that of the last fiscal.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, while presenting the budget here in the Lok Sabha, said the central government was committed to the overall development of the country.

Intelligence Bureau was given Rs.1,270.40 crore as against Rs.1,162.79 crore last year.
