IND vs WI: Suryakumar is the face of Jersey Samson, fans surprised in India-West Indies match; Know the whole matter

The first match of the ODI series between India and West Indies is being played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. Suryakumar Yadav came to the ground for fielding wearing Sanju Samson's jersey in this match. Initially, everyone was surprised to see him, because Sanju's name was not in the playing 11. Later it was understood that Suryakumar Yadav is playing in this match wearing Sanju's jersey. However, this is not the first time that a player has landed on the field wearing the jersey of another player. On many occasions, players are unable to take their jerseys to the ground due to various reasons and they have to play matches wearing the jerseys of their fellow players.

 

Last year three players wore Arshdeep's jersey

Last year, in the second match of the T20 series between India and West Indies, the luggage of many Indian players did not reach the hotel. In such a situation, all the players played wearing each other's jerseys. In this match, three players were playing wearing Arshdeep Singh's jersey. Apart from Arshdeep, Suryakumar Yadav and Avesh Khan also wore Arshdeep Singh's jersey. However, there is no information about why Suryakumar is wearing Samson's jersey in this match.

Many fans of Sanju Samson believe that Sanju has not got a place in the playing 11 in this match. Because of this, Suryakumar is fielding in his honor by wearing his jersey. This decision of Suryakumar, many fans of Sanju Samson have also praised him on social media. Sanju and Suryakumar play for different teams in domestic cricket and in the IPL, but both are good friends. In this match, Ishaan Kishan is part of Team India as a wicketkeeper, while Sanju will have to wait a little longer for a place in the team.
