Kolkata Knight Riders i.e. KKR had a good start in IPL 2022, but the team kept on losing in the middle matches. However, KKR still has a chance to qualify for the playoffs but the team cannot qualify for the playoffs on its own. Only a very few teams have a chance of making it to the playoffs, but for this, the team led by Shreyas Iyer will have to depend on the results of other teams. In such a situation, know how KKR can qualify for the playoffs.

Kolkata team currently has 12 points from 13 matches. By winning the last match, the team can get 14 points, but the qualification for the playoff will be decided on this number of points only when the results of the rest of the teams come according to KKR. First of all, KKR will have to register a win against Lucknow Super Giants, while KKR will have to hope that Gujarat Titans beat Royal Challengers Bangalore ie RCB. If RCB wins, then many teams will be out of the tournament, including Kolkata's name.

Not only this, KKR's work is not going to work only with their victory and RCB's defeat, but Mumbai Indians will have to beat Delhi Capitals. Only then can KKR qualify for the playoffs, but here you also have to understand the math of net run rate. If the KKR team beats Lucknow by X runs and Mumbai beats Delhi by Y runs, then the winning runs of both the teams should not exceed 30 runs. Apart from this, the result of the Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match will also be important for KKR.
