After coming under the grip of corona infection, there is a lack of oxygen in many people, due to which a large number of patients are dying. To deal with the shortage of medical oxygen, from hospital management to district administration and the state government is working on a large scale. The work of transporting oxygen tankers from one district and state to other cities and states is going on fast. However, still, patients are dying in hospitals fighting the battle against Corona in waiting for oxygen. The same thing happened in a government hospital in Hyderabad when the driver who came to fetch a new consignment of medical oxygen lost his way and seven patients died while waiting for him.

The driver could not reach the hospital with oxygen at the right time

This incident is from King Koti, a government hospital in Hyderabad. There was a shortage of medical oxygen in the hospital on Sunday (9 May). A tanker driver was coming to the hospital with a new consignment of medical oxygen but lost the way. Here, all were waiting for the driver in the hospital. Hospital administration, patients, and their families were getting restless due to the delay in getting oxygen. Gradually, the pressure of oxygen supply in the ICU began to decrease. Patients began to have difficulty breathing. In a short time, the oxygen supply level went down with danger. The driver could not reach the hospital with the oxygen at the right time and seven patients died on seeing it.

Raising questions

According to the information, oxygen pressure in the hospital's oxygen tank was showing less than noon. The hospital authorities immediately instructed to fill the tank, but the driver carrying the oxygen tanker strayed on the way. Nayaranguda police of Hyderabad found the tanker after much effort, but by the time the tanker reached the hospital with oxygen, it was too late. It is being told that the driver reached the hospital with an oxygen tanker 12 hours late. The hospital administration is sitting silently on this incident. Some people are also raising questions about why the green corridor was not provided to the tanker carrying oxygen.
