PM Modi said, "250-300 years ago when the country was chained in slavery, doing such great work at that time that many generations to come would talk about it, is easy to say, but not easy to do. Lokmata Ahilyabai never considered service to God and service to the people as separate. It is said that she always carried a Shivling with her."
In that challenging period, leading a state, to a crown full of thorns, Lokmata Ahilyabai gave a new direction to the prosperity of her state.
