Imran Khan assured him to continue his fight and said, "I am going to fight till the last ball and even if the whole party leaves me, I will fight alone."

 

Actually, in the Senate elections held on March 3, former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, a common candidate of the group of eleven opposition parties, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), defeated the current finance minister Hafeez Sheikh, the candidate of Imran Khan's party. The Election Commission has rejected all the allegations made by Imran Khan and his ministers.
