The news related to the election of the Senate and the vote of confidence of the Imran Khan government was in the headlines this week in the Urdu newspapers published from Pakistan.

Do not believe the first thing. Imran Khan's government has won a vote of confidence in Parliament. He needed 172 votes to get a confidence vote in the National Assembly of the lower house of 342 seats and got 178 votes.

Imran Khan's party candidate lost the coveted seat of current Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh Islamabad in the election held for the Senate of the Upper House of the Pakistani Parliament on Wednesday (March 3). After that Imran Khan had decided that he would get a vote of confidence in Parliament.

After receiving a trust vote on Saturday, Imran Khan in his speech in Parliament targeted the Election Commission.

He said, "I am ashamed of the Senate elections, Speaker Sir, the goat market has remained. We knew for a month. The Election Commission said that we have made a very good election. This further shocked me." If you have made this election good, then you do not know what a bad election is like. "

He said, "I want to tell the Election Commission to take a secret briefing from the agencies of Pakistan so that you know how much money was spent in the election."

Imran Khan assured him to continue his fight and said, "I am going to fight till the last ball and even if the whole party leaves me, I will fight alone."

Actually, in the Senate elections held on March 3, former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, a common candidate of the group of eleven opposition parties, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), defeated the current finance minister Hafeez Sheikh, the candidate of Imran Khan's party. It is being said that during the elections many MPs of Imran Khan's party did not vote for the party's candidate and did cross-voting.

Imran Khan had alleged that in this election there has been a lot of money transaction, due to which his candidate lost the election.

Attack on Election Commission

During this, he also raised questions on the Election Commission. He said that the Election Commission has saved the 'culprits' by getting the Senate elected by secret ballot.

Imran Khan attacked the Election Commission and said, "When the court gave you a chance, why did you support the secret ballot. I want to know which of my MPs have been sold but it is not possible to find out because of the secret ballot. You have damaged the democracy of the country. You have saved the perpetrators. Does the constitution allow you to steal? "

The Election Commission has rejected all the allegations made by Imran Khan and his ministers.

According to the newspaper world, the Election Commission issued a statement saying, "It is sad to hear what some ministers and the Prime Minister said after the results of the Senate election. Every party and person should have the courage to accept defeat. If we are opposed Speak with proof. The Election Commission does its work independently without any pressure in the light of the Constitution and the law. Let us do our work and do not let mudflow on national institutions. "

Opposition parties boycotted the trust vote.

PDM convenor Maulana Fazlur Rehman said, "The President called a fake session on the recommendation of the forged Prime Minister. We know how the agencies forcibly took their votes from the MPs. The Prime Minister was not ashamed to take the votes of the same corrupt MPs. PM's 2018 The majority was also forged and today's confidence vote is also fake. We do not accept it. "

Out of parliament

According to the Newspaper Express on Saturday, a scuffle took place between the opposition leaders and supporters of the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf outside the House during the trust vote.

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was assaulted, shoes were fired on former home minister Ahsan Iqbal. Supporters of PTI also shook up with Muslim League (Nawaz faction) spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman reacted strongly to this, saying, "Today, miscreants outside the Parliament attacked during the press conference of the opposition leaders. Do not throw stones at anyone while staying in the glasshouse. Government should not let Sharafat getaway "We know to answer the brick with stone. You will not find a place to walk in the streets."

According to the newspaper Jang, Home Minister Sheikh Rashid said that what happened to Maryam Aurangzeb should not have happened. He said that the Muslim League is very much in conflict with the leader and he strongly condemns it.

He said that if he received a complaint, he would take action.

However, many ministers of Imran Khan's cabinet brushed aside saying that they have no idea what happened to Maryam Aurangzeb outside Parliament.

Government has committed hooliganism: Maryam Nawaz

Opposition leader and vice-president of the Muslim League (Nawaz faction) Maryam Nawaz has reacted strongly to the incident outside Parliament.

Mariam Nawaz said, "Today the government has committed hooliganism. They have won the trust vote but now they are about to leave. This protection will be withdrawn from you soon and then 22 crore people are ready to change your government. Our workers There are also. The Muslim League (Nawaz) will never forget what happened today. "

Mariam Nawaz compared Imran Khan to former US President Donald Trump, saying that the Pakistani Trump attacked before leaving.

Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the Senate election was made impossible. Bilawal said that Imran Khan has neither support in the House nor in the public.

Upset about Finance Policy: Former Home Minister Ahsan Iqbal

Former Home Minister Ahsan Iqbal dismissed the allegations of Imran Khan and said that the ruling party's candidates are the reason for the defeat.

He said that Imran Khan is maligning the entire country for his benefit. He said that Imran Khan is attacking the Election Commission for the entire Senate election, but there are solid reasons for his party losing one seat in Islamabad.

According to Ahsan Iqbal, Imran Khan's finance policy has caused resentment among the MPs and the Prime Minister and Finance Minister are directly responsible for this, that is why the MPs got the Finance Minister elected.

Opposition's long march

According to the newspaper Jung, Maulana Fazlur Rahman has called a PDM meeting on Monday to discuss the outcome of the Senate election and the situation arising after Imran Khan votes confidence. There will also be talks about the election of the chairman of the Senate.

Meanwhile, on the 26 March Islamabad rally of the opposition, the Home Minister has said that if the opposition does not take the Constitution and the law in their hands-on on 26 March, then they can come to Islamabad with passion. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will take the final decision to allow the opposition to hold demonstrations in the capital's D-Chowk.

Imran's challenge even after the vote of confidence

According to the Newspaper Express, even after getting the trust vote in the house, Imran Khan's difficulty has not ended.

According to the newspaper, Imran Khan's associates are demanding to give him more ministry. Apart from the ministry, the post of the chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate is also being watched by colleagues.

On the other hand, the opposition PDM is also making offers to the allied parties of Imran.

According to the newspaper, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has sought the post of deputy chairman of the Senate from Imran Khan.

On the other hand, PDM leader Yusuf Raza Gilani met MQM leader Khalid Maqbool. After the meeting, Gilani said that the Prime Minister is doubting the MPs of his party. Gilani said that it is wrong for MPs to use words like 'sell-out'.

Gilani said that he has requested the MQM to support the PDM. Khalid Maqbool said that a final decision in this regard will be made by the party's Rabta committee.
