Khan has accused Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, and Army General Faisal Naseer, who works for the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency, of plotting the attack.
Government denies Imran's allegations
Imran Khan has offered no evidence for his allegations, although Sharif's government rejected them. The spy agency also dismissed Khan's allegations, saying there was no truth in his words. The Pakistan government says it has ordered a high-level inquiry. Police said the shooter, who was arrested on the spot of the attack, is also being questioned on Friday. On Thursday, local police officials released a video showing the man, who is said to have carried out the shooting alone.
