56,119 new corona were found infected in the last 24 hours in the country. 36,983 recovered and 266 died. 80% Covid Bed Reserve in Private Hospital in Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued an important circular to private hospitals amid worsening conditions caused by the corona in Mumbai. Accordingly, private hospitals will have to reserve 80% of the Covid beds and 100% of the ICU beds for the corona patients of the ward war room allocation. It is forbidden to directly admit any patients in hospitals.

 

BMC Commissioner IS Chahal said that all Corona patients will be allotted beds through the Corona War Room. In such a situation, no patient should try to get Corona positive report directly from the lab.

The Gujarat government has asked all schools in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, and Junagadh to take only online classes by April 10. The Tamil Nadu government has also decided to close all schools in the state.

1. Maharashtra: 10 thousand cases were reduced from the previous day.

 

31,643 new patients were found here on Monday. 20,854 recovered, while 112 died. The new case saw a drop of 10 thousand in 24 hours. Earlier on Sunday, 40,414 people were found positive. So far, 27.45 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 23.53 lakh have been cured, while 54,283 have died. Currently, 3.36 lakh people are being treated here.

 

2. Punjab: 59 dead, second only to Maharashtra

 

2,868 new patients were found here on Monday. 2,583 recovered, while 59 died. More than 102 deaths occurred in Maharashtra only. So far 2.34 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic in Punjab. Of these, 2.03 lakh have been cured, while 6,749 have died. At present, 24 thousand 143 people are under treatment.

 

3. Madhya Pradesh: Active case beyond 15,000

 

2,323 new patients were found here on Monday. 1349 people recovered, while 9 died. So far 2.91 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.71 lakh have been cured, while 3,967 have died. Currently, 15,150 people are under treatment.

 

4. Gujarat: Death toll reached 4,500

 

2,252 new corona patients were found here on Monday. 1,731 patients recovered, while 8 died. So far, 3.03 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.86 lakh have been cured, while 4,500 patients have died and 12,041 people are currently undergoing treatment. There were 407 cases here on February 28, since then an increase is being recorded every day.

 

5. Delhi: Most infected found in one day this year

 

There were 1,904 new cases here on Monday. This is the largest number of patients received on a single day this year. Earlier, on March 29, there were 1,881 cases. In the last 24 hours, 1,411 patients were cured here and 6 infected people died. So far, 6.59 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic, 6.40 lakh have been cured and 11,012 have lost their lives. Currently, 8,032 are under treatment.

 

6. Haryana: Less than 1,000 cases came after 4 days

 

On Monday, 995 new patients were found, 801 were cured and 2 died. Earlier, the number of new infected here was more than 1,000 for 3 consecutive days. So far, 2.88 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.76 lakh have been cured and 3,143 have died. Currently, 9,312 patients are being treated in the state.

 

7. Rajasthan: Reduction in new cases after 5 days continuous increase

 

On Sunday, 902 infected people were identified. 267 patients recovered. Earlier, new cases were being registered here for 5 consecutive days. The figure stood at 1,081 on Sunday. So far, 3.31 lakh patients have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 3.20 lakh have been cured, while 2,813 have lost their lives. Currently, 7794 patients are under treatment.
