Australia vs India 4th Test: On the fourth day of the fourth Test match being played at the Gaba International Stadium, India stopped Australia for 294 runs in the second innings with the help of fast bowler Mohammad Siraj's five and Shardul Thakur's four wickets. But because of gaining a lead of 33 runs in the first innings, Australia set a target of 328 runs in front of India. By the end of the fourth day's play, India have scored four runs without any loss. Now on the fifth day, he will have to score 324 runs to win. However, the game of the day was ended early due to rain.

Significantly, more than 250 target chases have not been done so far on Gaba's ground. In 1951, the West Indies chased a target of 236 runs against Australia here. Which is the highest score in terms of chasing the target on this ground. Since then, no team has been able to score more than 250 runs in the fourth innings here.

The fourth day was in Siraj's name

On the fourth day of the fourth Test match being played between India and Australia, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj was named. He took five wickets for 73 runs in 19.5 overs. With this, he became the sixth Indian bowler to take five wickets in Gaba.

Apart from Siraj, Shardul Thakur, playing his second Test, also performed well. The fast bowler, who hit a half-century in the first innings, took four wickets. He did this by conceding 61 runs in 19 overs. Apart from this, off-spinner Washington Sundar got one wicket.

India will have to score 324 runs on the fifth day

Please tell that due to rain, the game was stopped early on the fourth day of the Brisbane Test. Earlier, on the second day too, the third session had to be canceled due to rain. By the end of the fourth day's play, India have scored four runs in 1.5 overs. Rohit Sharma is playing after scoring four runs. At the same time, Shubman Gill has not opened the account yet. Now India will have to score 324 runs to win on the fifth day. However, looking at the pitch, it is not going to be easy for India at all.
