'India Will Not Bow Down Before Terrorism,' Says PM Modi on Anniversary of Pahalgam Attack

On April 22 last year, 26 civilians lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Today marks the first anniversary of the Pahalgam attack. On this solemn occasion, Prime Minister Modi has expressed his condolences to the families of those who perished in the attack.

 

 

Writing on ‘X’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated: "I am remembering the innocent lives lost in the horrific terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam on this very day last year. They will never be forgotten. In this hour of grief, my thoughts and condolences are with the bereaved families.

As a nation, we stand united in mourning and resolve. India will never bow down to any form of terrorism. The nefarious designs of terrorists will never succeed."

 

 

Terrorists’ Conspiracies Will Never Succeed

PM Modi unequivocally declared that India will not yield to any form of terrorism. He reiterated that the conspiracies hatched by terrorists will never succeed, and the nation will confront them with unwavering strength.

 

 

Retaliation Against Actions Directed at India Is Certain

Through a message posted on its official social media platforms, the Indian Army affirmed that any action directed against India would be met with a response that is both certain and stern. The Army asserted that justice will always be delivered, and there will be absolutely no compromise on this front.
