There is disappointing news for customers planning to purchase the Vivo X300 FE in India. Vivo has increased the price of the smartphone by a flat ₹10,000, with the revised pricing applicable to both storage variants.
The updated prices are now listed on Vivo's Indian online store. Following the latest hike, the top-end model has moved very close to the ₹1 lakh mark.
Vivo X300 FE New Price in India
The smartphone is available in two configurations, and both have become ₹10,000 more expensive.
Variant Old Price New Price Price Hike
12GB + 256GB ₹79,999 ₹89,999 ₹10,000
12GB + 512GB ₹89,999 ₹99,999 ₹10,000
The Vivo X300 FE 12GB + 256GB model now costs ₹89,999, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at ₹99,999.
This means buyers select the higher-storage model will now have to spend just ₹1,000 less than ₹1 lakh.
Vivo X300 FE Was Launched in India in May
The Vivo X300 FE arrived in the Indian market on May 6.
At launch, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model was priced at ₹79,999, while the 12GB + 512GB version cost ₹89,999.
The latest revision means the company has increased the price of both variants by ₹10,000 since launch.
The price increase also makes the Vivo X300 FE more expensive than its predecessor, the Vivo X200 FE, at their respective price points.
Vivo X300 FE Price Hike: Not an Isolated Case
Vivo is not the only smartphone maker to have increased prices in the Indian market.
Several brands, including OnePlus, Realme, Oppo and iQOO, have reportedly revised the prices of selected smartphone models.
For consumers shopping in the premium smartphone segment, these price changes make it increasingly important to compare current prices before making a purchase.
Vivo X300 FE Specifications and Features
Despite the price increase, the Vivo X300 FE remains positioned as a premium smartphone with high-end hardware.
The phone features a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, designed to provide smoother scrolling, animations and gaming.
It is also equipped with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, making it suitable for heavy multitasking and users who require substantial storage.
ZEISS Camera Setup
Photography is another major highlight of the Vivo X300 FE.
The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera system featuring ZEISS optics, aimed at users looking for a more premium photography experience.
Large Battery and Fast Charging
The phone also offers a large-capacity battery along with 100W+ fast charging support.
Other notable features include 5G connectivity, an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 water and dust resistance.
Is Vivo X300 FE Still Worth Buying After the ₹10,000 Price Hike?
The ₹10,000 price increase changes the value proposition of the Vivo X300 FE considerably.
The base model now costs ₹89,999, while the 512GB version has reached ₹99,999. At these prices, buyers may want to compare the phone with other premium smartphones before making a decision.
The device still offers a strong combination of a 120Hz AMOLED display, 12GB RAM, ZEISS cameras, fast charging and IP68 protection. However, the higher price means consumers should carefully consider available alternatives and discounts.
