That area was completely under the control of India. But for the first time, such an incident has happened amidst the tension on the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

On the other hand, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar once again said on Monday that the situation on the border will determine the relations between India and China. He also emphasized that relations should be based on mutual sensitivity, mutual respect, and mutual interest. The border situation in eastern Ladakh between India and China has been tense for the last two years. A large number of troops have been deployed from both sides at the points of confrontation.
