Delhi Police is working day and night in the Shraddha Walker murder case. For the third consecutive day, the police conducted a search operation in Delhi's Mehrauli forest and searched for evidence, with which some success has also been achieved. However, even after searching the ashes of the forest for about three hours, the police could neither find Shraddha's head nor the saw with which Shraddha's body was cut into pieces. The police feel that the accused Aftab Amin Poonawala is misleading the investigation team. In such a situation, the Delhi Police sought permission from the Saket court to conduct a narco test on Aftab, which the court has not accepted at present. However, the court has allowed narco tests in many cases, which has helped the investigation team a lot in solving the mystery of the crime. Let us tell you what is narco test and in which cases the court has allowed it.

Delhi Police looking for Shraddha's head and saw...

Collecting evidence against Aftab is proving to be a big challenge for the police. The Delhi Police, which has been searching the Mehrauli forest for two days, has so far recovered only about 25 pieces of Shraddha's body. In this, after a search of about eight hours, 11 pieces were found on Tuesday, while 14 pieces were recovered on Monday. All the pieces have been sent for forensic examination. The skull of Shraddha, which is considered to be the most important for gathering evidence of this murder case, has not been found by the police till now. Apart from this, the saw has also not been found, with which Shraddha's dead body was cut into pieces. In such a situation, many important secrets are expected to be revealed from the narco test.

What is Narco Test?

The Narco test is used by the police when a criminal is not telling the truth. It complicates the mystery of the crime further. In other words, it is used to extract the truth from a person's mind. In such a situation, a narco test is done to get correct information from a criminal. Police have got a lot of help from narco tests in many cases.

How is Narco Test done?

The process of the Narco test is not complicated. During this test, the criminal is given an injection of sodium pentothal. It is also known as Truth Drug. When this medicine enters the body, the person reaches such a state, where the person is not even in a state of complete unconsciousness and is also not fully conscious. Between these two there is a stage in which the person cannot speak much. It is believed that in this state no one tells a lie. Hence it helps the investigation team to reach the truth.

Life can be lost during Narco Test

There is also a risk of death of a person during the narco test. A precise amount of sodium pentothal has to be given during the test. If this quantity exceeds even a little, then the person can go into a coma. Apart from this, the person's life can also be lost. Explain that narco-analysis tests usually do not have legal validity, as it is performed by a semi-conscious person, which is not admissible in court.

Police permitted to conduct narco tests in these cases

Godhra incident case (2002): The first case in which a narco test was done in India was the Godhra incident of 2002, which shook the whole country. Narco test was conducted on the five accused arrested in this case – Bilal Haji Ismail Sujela, Kasim Abdul Sattar alias Kasam Biryani, Abdul Razzak Abdul Rahim Dhantia, Anwar Mohammed, and Irfan Siraj.

Two blasts in Hyderabad (2007): Abdul Kalim and Imran Khan, the accused in the two bomb blasts in Hyderabad in the year 2007, were also allowed by the court to conduct a narco test. In these bomb blasts, 42 people were killed and more than 50 people were injured.
