Other countries, including India, are engaged in deep contemplation about the future Taliban government in Afghanistan. Every country is considering every aspect of the Taliban's presence. India is also considering this. India has already said that it has no faith in the words and deeds of the Taliban.

In this regard, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said in his latest statement that India is keeping a close watch on Afghanistan. It has also been said from his side that at present the focus of India is on the safety and safe evacuation of its citizens present in Afghanistan. He said that there is also a problem in the work of the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission there.

On behalf of the Indian Foreign Minister, it has been said that he has talked a lot with the international forum on the issue of Afghanistan. In this regard, he has spoken with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and also with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Not only this but the issue has also been discussed with the foreign ministers of many other countries.

There are some big reasons behind recognizing or not giving recognition to the Taliban government. Let us tell you that India has invested millions of dollars in Afghanistan. After the arrival of the Taliban, the clouds of crisis are also hovering over this investment. At the same time, it is also not clear whether to proceed on this now or not. The attitude of the Taliban also does not appear to be believed. At the same time, there is also a big reason that the Taliban is a terrorist organization, which has now come to the fore with a political face. In such a situation, giving recognition to its government is like being isolated in the whole world. It is also not certain that even if this is done, India's interests will be fulfilled.

Let us tell you that the Taliban has spoken of walking with the world community after the occupation of Afghanistan. Not only this, but the Taliban has also said that it wants talks with the countries of the world. However, considering his old style, most of the countries are not believing his words. Let us also tell you here that on Wednesday, the CCS meeting was held once again under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi on the issue of Afghanistan.

In this meeting, the strategy which was decided earlier to deal with the latest situation in Afghanistan has been reviewed. If sources are to be believed, the government has also ordered immediate refuge for Hindus and Sikhs coming from Afghanistan. They will also be given citizenship later. The government has also asked for the disposal of visa applications for them on a priority basis.
