According to Skymet Weather, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains with lightning for the next five days. Apart from this, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Uttarakhand on Thursday and Friday, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the whole of Uttarakhand. Here the yellow alert will continue with the orange alert till August 23. In such a situation, the areas of the country where the rains have not been good can be compensated.

The main reason for the change in weather conditions has been attributed to the southward shift of the western end of the Monsoon Trough. This Monsoon trough will shift southwards in the next two days.
