According to Skymet Weather, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains with lightning for the next five days. Apart from this, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Uttarakhand on Thursday and Friday, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the whole of Uttarakhand. Here the yellow alert will continue with the orange alert till August 23. In such a situation, the areas of the country where the rains have not been good can be compensated.

Yellow alert in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan

A yellow alert has been issued in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan from today till Saturday. During this, there is a possibility of heavy rain and thundershowers at isolated places. The main reason for the change in weather conditions has been attributed to the southward shift of the western end of the Monsoon Trough. This Monsoon trough will shift southwards in the next two days.

Apart from this, a low-pressure area and cyclonic circulation are persisting over Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh on Thursday morning. Due to low pressure, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in these areas.

Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh have recorded a maximum rainfall deficit of 25 percent. In such a situation, when the monsoon rains resume again, there can be compensation here.
