Google said in a statement that India is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence on the completion of 75 years of independence. The winners of this year's Doodle or Google will see their artwork on the Google homepage in India on November 14.
G Kishan Reddy in his address urged the Google team to make a special doodle on 'Har Ghar Tiranga', which would encourage its employees and others to enthusiastically participate in the campaign.

The government later issued a statement saying that the event is a continuation of a decade-long partnership between the Ministry of Culture and Google.
