INDIA: Nitish objected to the opposition alliance being named 'India'! Know the reason behind this

Sources are being quoted as saying that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not happy with the name 'India' (Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance) being given to the opposition front. The name of the alliance was suggested by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during the second opposition meeting held in Bengaluru, which was attended by 26 opposition parties.

According to the information, Nitish Kumar had an objection to the name INDIA because it also includes the words in the name of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

An informal meeting was held on Monday

Sources in the news agency said that the name of the alliance 'India' was discussed in an informal meeting on Monday. After the debate, all the parties finally stamped the name of the coalition of opposition unity on Tuesday. On the other hand, it is being said that when the decision to name the alliance INDIA was being taken, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar raised questions about it.

He said that the name INDIA also includes the words in the name of NDA i.e. National Democratic Alliance, which is not correct. However, when all the parties gave their nod to the name India, they were left with no option. Nitish said that if no one has any problem then it is okay, to keep it.

 

Rahul argued for keeping India

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi chief Thol Thirumavalavan said that Mamata Banerjee suggested this name of the alliance. After a long discussion, it has been decided to keep India i.e. Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance. On the other hand, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said that Rahul Gandhi made the right argument for naming India. He explained why the alliance should be named India. Later all the parties approved it and decided to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections under the name India.
