Speaking to India Today, show producer Rishi Negi addressed allegations of host Salman Khan's bias, saying, "He has complete control over what's happening in the house and with the contestants. He has a point of view. As creators of the show, we also have a point of view on how we're viewing it. We also get a lot of feedback from the audience. So, we combine all of this to create the weekend episodes."

There are rumors that Salman Khan is charging between ₹150 and ₹200 crore for the 19th season. Regarding this, the producer said, "This contract is between him and JioHotstar, so I don't know about it. But whatever the rumors are, he's worth every penny. For me, as long as he's on my weekends, I'm happy."
In the same interview, when the producer was asked whether the team gives information to Salman Khan through an earpiece, he simply said that no one can make Salman accept something that he does not believe in.
